Sally advises on a wide range of pensions matters predominantly relating to defined benefit schemes for both trustee and employer clients.
Sally began her career in pensions in the professional services sector before training as a pensions lawyer. She qualified in 2006 and worked for 9 years at the London office of a global law firm. Following a career break, she returned to practice in 2021 and joined Arc Pensions Law in February 2022.
Sally’s broad range of experience includes advising on governing documentation and interpreting pensions legislation. She is experienced in drafting rule amendments to implement changes to benefit design (e.g. changes in benefit structures and closures to accrual). Sally also advises clients in relation to de-risking solutions and funding negotiations. She has advised in connection with contingent assets, participation in a pension funding partnership and multi-employer scheme restructurings (FAA).
Sally is a member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and served on the Education and Seminars sub-committee between 2013 and 2016.
