She has advised on many subsequent restructuring and insolvency situations, and co-authored the book, Pensions and Corporate Insolvency: a Practitioner’s Guide (Jordans).
Rosalind also has significant experience in dealing with pensions on transactions, advising trustees, employers, investors and funders on a range of UK and multi-national sales and acquisitions. She deals with a wide range of issues, from multi-national pension schedules to Regulator clearance.
Her other areas of expertise include tax planning and structuring relating to pensions, and she is the pensions contributor to Revenue Law: Principles and Practice (Bloomsbury).
Rosalind trained at the city firm of Gouldens (now part of the international firm Jones Day) and remained there for 16 years, becoming a partner and head of European Employee Benefits. She then became a partner at Taylor Wessing in its Pensions Group before joining Arc Pensions Law at the beginning of 2016.
Rosalind was Chair of the Association of Pension Lawyers between 2015 and 2017. She is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute and sits on the committee of its London Group as Immediate Past Chairman. Rosalind is also an affiliate member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries since 2019 and sits on its Pensions Board.
In July 2020 Rosalind was appointed Arc Pensions Law’s Managing Partner.
