Beth has 14 years’ experience advising trustees and employers on all aspects of pensions law. She trained at a global law firm and qualified into its pensions group in 2008.

Beth has particular expertise in the insolvency, finance and governance aspects of pensions. She has notably advised trustees on employer insolvencies and transition to the Pension Protection Fund, sponsor refinancings and de-risking including an innovative £1.6 billion buy-in. She has also been seconded to the Pension Protection Fund.

Beth plays an active role in the pensions industry, chairing the PMI’s Award in Pensions Trusteeship Committee and sitting on its Certificate and DC Governance Committee. She has also aided in setting the National Occupation Standards for certain pension roles and regularly contributes to pensions-related news.

Beth frequently speaks at conferences and events within the pensions industry, often discussing pensions matters at APL and PMI events.
