Partner Jane Kola spoke at Willis Towers Watson’s superfunds panel discussion
Partner Jane Kola spoke at a panel discussion hosted by financial services firm Willis Towers Watson about superfunds, which took place on Friday, 3 December.
The webinar, entitled “Superfunds – a green light to the first DB superfund”, discussed the recent news that Clara-Pensions has passed the Pensions Regulator’s initial assessment process. The news means that the first potential transactions with a defined benefit superfund can now be put forward to tPR for clearance and speakers commented on the practical questions pension scheme trustees and sponsors should ask.
Other industry speakers included Adam Saron, Founder and CEO of Clara-Pensions, Hazel Kendrick and Costas Yiasoumi, Senior Directors at Willis Towers Watson, and Tiziana Perrella, Professional Trustee at Dalriada Trustees Limited.
