Beth advises clients on all aspects of pensions law and practice. She routinely advises clients across a range of sectors on scheme governance and compliance, including new legislative and regulatory changes, member matters, governing documentation and member communications as well as on employer insolvencies and Pension Protection Fund (“PPF”) matters. Beth has undertaken secondments to the PPF and AstraZeneca PLC, London.
Beth is listed as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 UK 2025, with the guide noting her expertise in governance and pension insolvency matters.
Beth has also been recognised by the pensions industry more widely, for example by being shortlisted for two Professional Pensions Women in Pension awards (Role Model and Mentor of the Year) in 2019 and again in 2020, and is a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
In addition, Beth is an active member in the industry, chairing the Pensions Management Institute (“PMI”)’s Award in Pensions Trusteeship Committee and previously sat on its Certificate in DC Governance Committee, having worked with the PMI to develop and establish the industry qualification. Beth often speaks at industry events (including for the Association of Pension Lawyers and PMI and, prior to joining Arc, published a monthly pensions podcast) and continues to write for internal and external publications.”
