ESG: Are you asking the right questions?
With only two trustee meetings for many schemes before 1 October, the deadline for updated SIPs is fast approaching. Trustees’ ESG and stewardship investment beliefs are firmly in the spotlight. There is still time for an organised and steady consideration of what trustees are doing now and why, and whether any changes are needed. It’s a trustee led-process but will involve input from investment and legal advisers.
One of the most challenging things can be working out what questions to ask your investment consultants and managers.
