Beth Brown and Ben Fairhead to speak on pension transfers and avoiding scams
Partners Beth Brown and Ben Fairhead will be speaking at the MBL webinar: Keeping on the Right Side of Pension Transfers & Avoiding Scams.
Beth and Ben will provide an overview on the current pension transfer landscape, and how to validly transfer a pension while reducing the risk of inadvertently breaching the requirements. Additionally, as scammers are becoming more sophisticated, Beth and Ben will discuss how to conduct transfers safely and without falling victim to pension scams. They will also look at how the Pensions Ombudsman is approaching pension transfer and scam cases, and how this could influence future behaviour.
