Arc Pensions Law highly ranked in the Chambers UK 2024 Guide

Arc Pensions Law has again been highly ranked for pensions in the Chambers and Partners UK Guide 2024.

Both the London and Leeds offices have retained their rankings, with the guide praising the firm for its “experienced team who balance legal knowledge with commercial acumen”, with one source noting “we rate the depth and breadth of their team very highly, and service levels and responsiveness are very good.” Another source further comments “the technical expertise is clearly there, and it’s delivered in an accessible way which is difficult for pensions law, because the law itself is difficult to digest – they’re very user-friendly.”

Anna Rogers, Vikki Massarano and Kate Payne all retain their Band 1 rankings, with Rosalind Connor, Jane Kola and Anna Copestake listed as leading solicitors. Robert Walker has also been ranked this year as Up and Coming.

Anna Rogers is described as “one of the best in the pensions industry right now.”

Rosalind Connor is praised for her “pragmatic approach to issues and projects and is responsive to queries with detailed analysis of the issue and possible solutions”, with a commentator highlighting “her direct, clear style is much appreciated when it comes to delivering advice.” Another source notes that she “delivers succinct and commercially astute advice and manages client relationships masterfully.”

A source comments that Jane Kola “is simply outstanding in terms of the breadth and depth of her knowledge, her ability to explain complex issues simply and to keep a step ahead of the lawyers advising the trustee bodies.”

The guide notes that Anna Copestake “provides practical and sound advice.”

Vikki Massarano is described by a source as “very knowledgeable and very experienced – she’s also very pragmatic and takes a practical approach”. The guide further highlights that “she explains things in more simple terms and provides a great level of service”, with a further source stating “she is brilliant, she’s a cut above.”

Sources note that Kate Payne “has a great way of simplifying complex matters so that people outside the pension profession understand the situation”, with another commenting “we have worked with Kate for a good number of years and have always received exceptional service.”

Robert Walker is described as “a great adviser and a rising star”, and “excellent in all areas.”
