Arc hires new Senior Associate
Specialist pensions law boutique Arc Pensions Law is delighted to announce today the continuation of its rapid expansion with another key hire. Helen Mungeam joins the team as a Senior Associate from international City firm, Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
Helen trained at a magic circle firm and in 1995 qualified into its pensions department. She joined the pensions department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges as a Senior Associate in 2001 where she worked for many years before joining Arc.
Senior Partner of Arc Pensions Law, Anna Rogers, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome another experienced pension lawyer to our team at Arc, a sign of our continuing growth in the pensions legal market.”
Helen’s 20+ years of experience as a pension lawyer means that she has advised on a wide range of pensions matters, including the pensions aspects of mergers, acquisitions, disposals, private equity transactions, as well as on related dealings with the pension trustees and the UK Pensions Regulator. She also advises on all issues relevant to the lifecycle of occupational pension schemes including the establishment, amendment, merger, closure and winding-up of pension schemes.
Helen’s addition to the team follows the firm’s recent developments in admitting four Partners in a single year and the opening of the firm’s Leeds office, making it the first major national pensions law boutique.
